Oct. 01: The Thrissur community gave a warm welcome to Fr. Pradeep the Vice-Provincial of India. The community was very happy to welcome him and was thankful to him for coming to our community.

Solemnity of Our Lady of Good Remedy

Oct. 08: We, the members of Thrissur community, celebrated the solemnity of Our Lady of Good Remedy along with the members of Mercy Home and the Third Order members. Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Antony along with the concelebrants and we all implored the blessing of Our Lady of Good Remedy.

Happy Birthday Fr. Lijo Abraham

Oct. 10: The Thrissur community celebrated the birthday of Fr. Lijo O.SS.T. on the 9th. The community wished him a happy birthday and on the 10th the community organized a program and celebrated his birthday along with sisters, members of mercy home and all other members. Oct. 08: The community celebrated the wedding anniversary of Sherli Chechi. The community wished a happy married life and as a token of love the community offered a gift to them.

Oct. 11: The Thrissur community greeted a hearty welcome to Fr. Pradeep and Brother Michael. It was a great joy to welcome them into our community. All cherished the joy of each other.

Oct. 14: We, the members of the Thrissur community whole heartedly welcomed Fr. Alphonse de Grace to our community. It was a great joy for us to welcome him into our community. The community was very grateful to him.

Oct. 17: The community was very happy to celebrate the birthday of Brother Ashik who is in first year. All the members of the community wished him and prayed for him and for his family members.

Oct. 19: The Thrissur community celebrated the birthday of Brother Xavier. It was a immense pleasure to celebrate the birthday of Brother Xavier. We wished him for his vocation and prayed for him and for his family.

Adoration for Persecuted Christian

Oct. 21: The community observed a day of prayer in Adoration for Persecuted Christians. The Adoration was done mainly for Persecuted Christian all over the world.

Gathering of the Solemn Professed

Oct. 21-22: The community welcomed all the fathers for their solemn professed gathering. Fathers Xavier, Jaison, Bitaju and Joshy and all the priests whom already we welcomed, and wished them to have fruitful Solemn Professed gathering.

Feast of Holy Redeemer

Oct. 23: The community of Thrissur celebrated the feast of the Redeemer. Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Lijo. We all plead the blessings of Holy Redeemer.

Rosary Procession

Oct. 28: The community was grateful to have Rosary procession from our community to Aranattukara parish. As it is done every year in the month of October along with the different units which are under us and with the parishioners.

Prayer for Persecuted Christians

Oct. 30: The community had rosary procession for the persecuted Christian. The prayer was particularly done for the persecuted Christian and for the peace in the world.

Feast of Our Lady of Good Remedy and Entrance of New Third Order Members

Oct. 08: The community celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Good Remedy. Fr. Bitaju celebrated the Holy Mass and gave a good message to all. Four new members entered officially to the third-order family. This year four new members joined. Afterward, we had a festal meal together with third-order members.

Welcome to Bro. Michael

Oct. 14: The community welcomed Michael as he came from the novitiate to go to Assam. He expressed the joy to see all the brothers once again.

Welcome to Alwin

Oct. 15: The Community welcomed Alwin, brother of Bro. Edwin. Bro. Edwin introduced him to the Community. Alwin thanked for the hospitality of the brothers that he enjoyed from the community.

Happy Birthday Amity

Oct. 15: The Community celebrated the Birthday of Amity, brother of Bro. Anugrah. The community prayed for him and his family in a special way and wished him all the greetings of the day. Bro. Bibin K S felicitated him.

Oct. 17: The Community welcomed Dn. Prakash and expressed the happiness to see him once again. He conveyed regards from his ministry place.

Oct. 18: The Community celebrated the Birthday of Bro. Amal. The community prayed for him and his family in a special way and wished him all the greetings of the day. Bro. Thomas felicitated him and Bro. Alan sang a melodious song as a compliment.

Rosary Procession

Oct. 19: The Community dedicated ten special days for Rosary prayer as part of the month of Rosary. It started on the 10th of October. Every day each brother gave a short description of different apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On this Prayer Culmination Day, Third-Order members also joined in the rosary procession. Bro. Relics of St. Paul John Paul II

Oct. 19: The Community received the relics of St. Pope John Paul II. We sought the intercession to the saint in a very special way. Bringing the relics to the Ashram was part of it journey all through the country in preparation for the JaGo 2023 Conference.

Happy Birthday Juli Chechi

Oct. 19: The Community celebrated the Birthday of Mrs. Juli Babu, one of the Third-Order Members. We wished her all the greetings to her and prayed for her and her family.

JaGo 2023 Conference

Oct. 21-24: The Community took part in the Jesus Youth National Youth Conference called “JAGO 2023”. The Conference was a very good experience for the brothers and they explored the Conference well.

Feast of Holy Redeemer

Oct. 23: The community celebrated the feast of the Holy Redeemer. The community prayed for seven days, especially for the places where severe Christian persecution happens. Brothers prepared collages representing those places and read out reports of Christian persecution happening there.

Home Day Celebrations

Oct. 28: The community organized the Home Day conclusion ceremony under the leadership of Home Day coordinators. The Community invited nearby communities to enjoy the programs arranged by the brothers. Everyone appreciated the hard work of the brothers to put up good programs. Fr. Pradeep released the Magazine “Tritva Jyothi-2023.”

Welcome to Bishop Robert Muhiirva

Oct. 29: The Community welcomed the bishop of Uganda, Robert, and his companion Fr. Peter. They expressed their joy in coming to the community. They will stay back in the community until he completes his treatments.

LCA Prize Distribution

Oct. 28: The Coordinators of the Home Day distributed the prizes to the winners in different competitions. Bishop Robert Muhiirva and Father Peter gave away the prizes to brothers.

Ordination Anniversary

Oct. 27: The Community celebrated the Ordination Anniversary of Fr. Xavier Kachappilly, O.SS.T. Fr. Xavier celebrated the Holy Eucharist and Fr. Jaison con-celebrated and Bro. Emmanuel and Brothers from DeMatha Boy’s Home were part of the celebrations.

Welcome to Bro. Michael

Oct. 27: Bro. Michael Sunny Marbaniang was given a warm welcome by the community in Tulsibari and also by DeMatha Boy’s Home.

Rosary Procession

Oct. 30: DeMatha Boy’s Home celebrated the conclusion of the Rosary Month with a Rosary Procession with a special intention for the Persecuted Christians around the World and especially for the people in Manipur.

Come and See Programme

Oct. 30: New vocations visited our house at Bilpar with their families. The Family and the come-and-see brothers remained with the community for half a day. The community welcomed them, and thanked Green Garden Sisters for their support to bringing these new candidates for the coming academic year.

Retreat for the Brothers

Oct. 05 - 08: Fr. Rajeesh CSJB animated a 5 days retreat for our brothers from 4th to 8th of October. The Brothers highly appreciated and benefitted from the retreat.

Welcome to Fr. Pradeep

Oct. 08: Visit of Rev. Minister Vice- Provincial: Fr. Pradeep arrived the community on 8th of October for the Pastoral Visitation from 8th to 10th of October.

Entrance to the Novitiate

Oct. 08: Bro. Peter was received into the canonical year of Novitiate by Rev. Fr. Pradeep, Minister Vice Provincial, on 8th October 2023. Neighbouring priests and religious participated in the ceremony.

Happy Birthday Sr. Sona

Oct. 20: Every birthday is the gift from God. On 20th October we celebrated birthday of Sr. Sona along with prayer dedicated to her. We thank the Lord for her life and vocation in our community on this auspicious day.

Vocation Camp

Oct. 22: Gathering is something that touch each one and make sparks in their hearts. We conducted camp for the girls where we could help them experience how is religious life during their stay with us.

Rosary Month Devotion

Oct. 31: Rosary is a month where we remember and dedicate more time to spend with Mother Mary. During the month of Rosary we made special efforts to pray rosary. We conducted month of Rosary with a candle lit procession which remains as a beautify memory in our hearts.
