Holy Trinity Ashram, Bangalore

Ash Wednesday

The community began the season of lent with prayer, penance and abstinence. The liturgical celebrations of the day was animated by Fr. Simine.

Community celebrated the birthday of Bro. Rinto Mathew, a student of second year Theology at DVK, Bangalore. We prayed for him during the Holy Mass and wished him all the best for his life. In the evening we had the birthday celebration where Br. Rinto cut the cake and Br. Sanish felicitated Br. Rinto.

Birthday of Fr. Xavier

Community anticipated the birthday celebration of Fr. Xavier, as he was going to MEM for the Lenten ministry. The community prayed for him, his family, his mission and his health. The community organized some cultural programs. Some of the well-wishers of community joined in the celebrations that concluded with an agape.

Welcome to Novices

The First year Novices, namely, Bros. Bibin, Doyal and Tom, came to the community along with Br. Ravi to attend the workshops. The community whole heatedly welcomed them.

Minor Orders of Br. Rinto Mathew

Br. Rinto Mathew, second year theologian, received Minor orders from Bishop Mar Jose Pulikkan, the auxiliary bishop of Kanjirappilly, at Dharmaram College Chapel, together with other companions from his college. The Community congratulated and wished him all the best.

Growth Workshop for Brothers

Simple Professed brothers along with the first year novices had their gathering for five days of growth workshop. First three days the sessions were animated by Mr. Stan Lobo on the topic ‘Healing and forgiving’. On 30th March the sessions animated by Fr. William S.J., on psycho-sexual integration. Renewal of Vows

The Simple Professed brothers renewed their vows during the evening prayers. Rev. Fr. Joseph Muthuplackal, the Minister Vice Provincial, received the vows. The community prayed for them and congratulated the brothers.

Holy Trinity Ashram, Kasaragod

Visit of Minister Vice-Provincial

Minister Vice-Provincial made a surprise visit to the community. He came to the community along with Fr. Binoj after their Council meeting to see the recent developments in the property and went back at 5 o’ clock in the evening.

Welcome to Bro. Ravi

Br. Ravi arrived the community to spend his vacation duty in this community. The feast of St. Joseph was celebrated and the Holy Mass was at noon.

Novices @ Bangalore

Novices left for participating in the growth workshop organized in Bangalore for our brothers. It was a five day workshop and the novices enjoyed the workshop and the visit with the community.

Holy Trinity Ashram, Thrissur

Way of the Cross

The community joined the Third Orders for the Way of The Cross conducted for the persecuted Christians around world, followed by Holy Eucharistic Adoration. Fr. Alphonse O.SS.T delivered a message.

13 Hours of Adoration

The Community conducted a 13 hours adoration and Eucharistic procession. And the intensions were the recent media attacks on the priests and the consecrated and also for the mercy home, planned to build in the Ashram premises.

Birthday of Fr. Jins VD

Community celebrated the birthday of Fr.Jins Valiyakulathil O.S.S.T. Fr. Jins celebrated the Holy Mass and delivered a message. Fr. Minister wished Fr.Jins and also we had a small felicitation program. And also wished all the brothers who celebrated their birthday in the same month.

Conclusion of Home Day

The Community conducted a concluding program of the Home Day Celebrations. Different arts and sports items that were begun as part of home day in the month of July, being closed here, and distributed the awards for the winners of each items and honored them.

Performance Day

The Community Conducts a ‘Performance Day’ for brothers to help them to bring their abilities and talents out and to perform all the musical instruments that they learned during the year. The music teachers where invited and honored by the community and Fr. Minister honored them garmenting Ponnada.
