Breaking the Bread-Holy Thursday

April 13: Fr. Joseph Muthuplackal officiated the traditional 'breaking of the bread' for the community in the evening. The community joined for the liturgical celebrations at Santhome Parish Church.

Meeting with Mr. Anto Ankara

April 8: Mr. Anto Akkara, an international journalist, who has made a through study of the incidents of Christian persecution in Kandhamal, Orissa, visited the community and shared his experiences during the visit to Kandhamal several times. Welcome to Fr. Augustine

April 3: Fr. Augustine arrived in the community to teach brothers homiletics and conduct a night vigil at St. Thomas Church, Kollamghana. Brothers learnt tips for delivering speeches and it was well appreciated by the brothers.

Birthday of Mr. Thankachan

April 10: Community celebrated the B’day of Mr. Thankachan. The Holy Mass was celebrated at noon and followed by a dinner. The arrival of Br. Johny to the community to leave for Holy Week services.

Way of the Cross for Persecuted Christians

April 14: On Good Friday, there was a way of the Cross conducted for the persecuted Christians. Br. Ravi gave a message at the end. Community participated in the Good Friday services in Kumbala parish.

Arrival of Fr. Bitaju for Classes

April 20-23: Fr. Bitaju came to the community to help the brothers with Spanish and sessions on Trinity and Community Life. Brothers were able to understand the mystery of the Trinity and the significance of community life.

Welcome to Fr. Meby

April 26: Fr. Meby reached the community. He was accompanied by Fr. Binoj from Thrissur. The community extended a warm welcome to him. There were three students who are desirous of joining us. They were accompanied by Br. Johny to Thrissur. Br. Johny came back from Holy Week services to the community on 23rd.

Welcome back to Novices

April 29: Our second year novices came back after their mission experience in Assam and their annual retreat in Attapadi. They were grateful to Assam community for all the arrangements of travel to mission places. They had a wonderful time in the mission.

Vocation Camp

The third and the final Vocation Camp of the year 2017 was conducted. Fr.Sunil Thoppiltharayil, O.SS.T, the Minister of the seminary celebrated the Holy Qurbana and inaugurated the camp. Rev.Fr.
