Aug. 3: The community had a friendly volleyball match with Jesuit brothers. It was an interesting game and the community won the match. Congratulations!
Aug. 11: Bro. Martin Kuriakose drew a beautiful picture of Mother Mary on a piece of wood and the community congratulated him as it was presented to the Minister Conventual. Martin is a second year student of Philosophy at Jeevalaya Institute of Philosophy, Bangalore.
Aug. 11: The community congratulated Bros. Johny and Milton who received Bachelors degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Urbaniana University, Rome.
Aug. 12: The community had inter-sem (competitions between the seminarian of different congregations in Bangalore) cricket match with the Congregation of Sacred Heart and we won the match. Congratulations to the Brothers!
Aug. 15: The 70th Independence Day Of our Nation was celebrated. We had celebration after the Holy Mass by Frs. Xavier and Mathew. Fr. Mathew hoisted the flag and there was a march-past by brothers. Sisters from Holy Cross and some Jesus Youth members joined us for the celebration.
Aug. 30th - Sept. 1st: A three-day retreat was conducted for the De Matha Boys by Jesus Youth members and Fr. Bitaju. It was both a time of fun and reflections through talks, action songs and group activities.
The feast of the Assumption was celebrated solemnly with the Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Meby. Afterwards the flag was hoisted in celebration of the Independence Day.
Aug. 30: The community anticipated the Onam celebrations and had the celebrations on 30th November. The community had solemn qurbana presided by Fr. Jose, a Nobertain, and later had the Onasadhya and competetions organized by brothers.
Aug. 15: Community celebrated the feast of Blessed Mother’s Assumption. Fr. Pradeep celebrated the solemn Holy Eucharist and Fr. Jins delivered a homily.
Aug. 15: The community celebrates independent day with a colorful program. Fr Sunil hoisted the flag and delivered the message. Brothers conducted different programs to make the day joyful soon after the breakfast.
Aug. 19: The community celebrates the birthday of all the birthdarians of the month. They were wished and felicitated and there was a get together followed by Agape.
Aug. 24: Community made a send off program to Dn Joseph CST and arranged a get together of priests. Parish Vicar, Assi. Vicar and two Deacons joined for the program. Brothers arranged a simple but meaningful program. New Deacon was welcomed and community wished him all the best for his parish ministry at Aranattukara Parish.
Aug. 28: Community celebrated the feast of Fr Augustine as he celebrated his feast. Community wished all the best and success in his ministry and offered the prayer support of the community for his mission of collecting funds for proposed mercy home.
Aug. 15: Holy Mass celebrated with the parish community followed by flag hoisting at the School. The School children participated in the Tamulpur Sub-divisional march-past competition and won third prize. Fr. Biju congratulated the students and gave away the certificates.
Aug. 30: One more candidate for SIT India project at Bangalore arrived the community, John Paul Topno from Tezpur Diocese, who completed his class X. He will be travelling to Bangalore soon.
Aug. 13: Fr. Mattheo who was the previous parish priest and the minister of the community was given a farewell during the Holy Mass presided over by Don Christopher. Fr. Mattheo was in the parish community for about 25 years. He left Campomaggiore to the new place of his assignment on 14th.
Aug. 24: Fr. Simine’s birthday was celebrated. We had three guests in the community. The parish community wished and prayed for Fr. Simine and appreciated his presence.
Aug. 25-27: ‘Campo Scuola’, a three days summer camp was conducted for children. Seventy five children participated and it was animated by youth of ‘Azioni Catolica.’ There were various pragrammes conducted throughout three days.
