Holy Trinity Ashram, Thrissur

All Saints Day

Nov. 1: Community celebrated the all Saints Day of the Church. Fr. Pradeep Puthenveettil was the main celebrant and Frs. Jins and Jaison concelebrated.

All Saints Day of the Order

Nov. 13: Fr. Sunil, the Minister Conventual, was the main celebrant and preached a homily on this day.

All Souls Day of the Order

Nov. 14: Fr. Jaison celebrated the Holy Eucharist for the departed Souls of the Order. Fr. Sunil joined for the office of the dead at our cemetery.

Birthday Celebration

Nov. 20: The community celebrated the birthday of the birthdarians of the month. They were wished and felicitated and there was a get together followed by an agape.

Nov. 22: Community went for a picnic to Wonderla Amusement Park in Ernakulam. Fathers and Brothers spent the day in the park. It was very joyful and refreshing experience. Brothers were expressing their happiness throughout the picnic.

First Profession of Sr. Mini, O.SS.T.

Nov. 27: Trinitarian Novice, Mini Michael had her first profession at our Ashram Chapel. Most Rev. Jose Narlaly, the Minister General, was the main celebrant; Rev. Sr. Felixia Hernandez, Mother General of Trinitarian Sisters of Madrid, received her profession. Her family, close relatives and the members from nearby communities were present.

Reception Program to Mother General and Sr. Mini

Nov. 30: Community gave a reception to Sr. Felicia Hernandez, Mother General, and newly professed Sr. Mini. Community arranged a cultural program in the refectory itself along with the agape. Both of them were wished and congratulated.

Welcome to Fr. Jaison and Bro. Tinto

Nov. 23: Fr. Jaison, O.SS.T., and Br. Tinto SJB arrived the community to help out for a parish retreat at St. Mary's Church, Poinachi. The retreat was held from 24 to 26 November.

Birthday of Bro. Alphy

Nov. 20: The birthday of Br. Alphy was celebrated in the community. The community wished and prayed for him.

Rosary Exhibition

Nov. 11: Brothers went to Mangalore to see the Rosary Exhibitions. The Rosario Cathedral hosted a four-day rosary exhibition where a collection of 50,000 rosaries from 80 countries were on display.

Feast of St. Felix of Valois

Nov. 4: We celebrated the feast of St. Felix of Valois, co-founder of the Order. Fr. Mathew presided over the Holy Mass and preached the homily.

Migrant Ministry

Nov. 12: The community organized Holy Mass for the Hindi speaking migrant community and about 80 people participated in it. The ministry is organized in collaboration with the Commission for the Migrants under the Archdiocese of Bangalore. It is conducted every second Sunday of the month.

Feast of All the Saints of the Order

Nov. 13: The community celebrated the Feast of All the Saints of the Order and Fr. Augustine presided over the Holy Mass and preached a meaningful homily.

Birthday of Bro. Diljo Achandy

Nov. 18: The community celebrated the Birthday of Bro. Diljo and wished him and prayed for his intentions. Bro. Diljo is in the year of preparation for his Solemn Vows.

Community Outing

Nov. 25: The community went for a one-day picnic to Hogenakkal Falls, Tamil Nadu. It was a wonderful time for all of us to be together enjoy the nature and brotherhood. We enjoyed a lot the coracle boating and fishing.

Birthday of Fr. Bitaju and Farewell to Fr. Augustine

Nov. 30: The community celebrated the Birthday of Fr. Bitaju with a short program performed by brothers and gave a farewell to dear Fr. Augustine. Fr. Augustine moved to the Shimoga community as the new Minister Conventual of the house. We wished all the best and prayerful wishes to both the fathers.

Pilgrimage

Nov. 13-14: The whole community along with Frs. Jose and Fr. Joshy Abraham, O.SS.T., who arrived here from USA for three days visit, made a trip to the pilgrim centres of Saint Padre Pio and the shrine of Archangel Michael. Nov. 25: The community celebrated the ordination anniversary of Fr. Orlando, O.SS.T., a member of the community.

Nov. 27: The community celebrated the birthday of Mrs. Rita, our cook.

Tritva Bhavan, ASSAM

All Souls Day

Nov. 2: Fr. Biju, the parish priest, went to each village and blessed the tombs and celebrated the Holy Eucharist and prayed for all the departed souls of the parish.

Vocation Work

Nov. 3-6: Fr. Biju and Bros. Prakash and Bibin (novice), had gone to Megalaya for vocation work. Fr. Biju and Br. Bibin visited different villages for the same.

Gathering of Religious

Nov. 25: We had religious gathering of our parish and all the religious were present for the meeting. Discussion were on the functioning of the parish and also planned for Christmas celebration.

Children’s Day Celebration

Nov. 14: St. Xavier’s High School has celebrated the children’s day. Fr. Joseph Olickal, the financial administrator of Guwahati archdiocese, was the chief guest of the program. We also celebrated the birth day of Fr. Joseph Olickal, and gave farewell to class X students.

Class X Picnic

Nov. 21: Picnic for class X students of St. Xavier’s high school was organized. The group visited Bongaigaon.

Eucharist Procession

The Archdiocese of Guwahati celebrated the feast of Christ the King and had the Eucharist procession in the city of Guwahati where all the parishes of Guwahati archdiocese were present. The Tamulpur parish also participated with good number of faithful from the parish.

Welcome to Fr. Augustine

Nov. 28: Community welcomed Fr. Augustine, the counselor for apostolate, to our mission. Fr. Augustine visited to get the details of the various projects and programs managed by our friars in the mission.

Tea Garden Girls

Nov. 29: Fr. Augustine interacting with the tea garden girls whom were are supporting for various vocation training programs through SIT India.
