Jan. 14: Brothers Diljo Achandy and Saneesh Paul began their preparation for Solemn Profession (APPS) at San Carlino, Rome. There are seven participants in the program this year 2018.

Priestly Ordination of Dn. Vinaya Kumar, O.SS.T.

Jan. 17: Deacon Vinaya Kumar, O.SS.T. was Ordained a priest at St. Joseph's Church, C.N. Kottai, Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh, by the Bishop Anthony Poola of Kurnool diocese, at 10 a.m. The following day on 18th January, he celebrated his first Mass. Faith Exposure Program

Jan 7-13: Br. Prakash has participated in one week Faith Exposure Program which was conducted in Rangjuli Parish, Guwahati. There were around 600 participants from various congregations from the dioceses of North East. The program commenced on 7th January and ended by 13th. Jan. 22: The Birthday of Fr. Biju was celebrated together with the neighbouring community members. All wished and prayed for him.

First Prize for March-past

Jan. 26: On the Occasion of Republic day, the Tamulpur Sub-division conducted the March-past competition for the school in the area. Several schools participated in the competition. St. Xavier’s High School, Tamulpur, won the first prize. Fr. Principal congratulated the trainer and the students.

Republic Day Celebrations

Jan. 26: St. Xavier’s High School, Tamulpur, celebrated the Republic Day of India. Sr. Mary, ASMI, hoisted the flag, in the presence of the teachers and students.

Orientation Program for Teachers

Jan. 27: The orientation class for the teaching staff of St. Xavier's High School, Tamulpur was animated by Fr. Joseph Ollickal, the administrator of Guwahati archdiocese. This was followed by a meeting of the staff with Fr. Jojo, the principal.

Jan. 2-6: The five-days of annual retreat for the simple professed was animated by Rev. Antony Kaliath, CMI. The retreat was very unique and appreciated by the brothers.

Republic Day Celebration

Jan. 26: On the Republic day of the nation Fr. Mathew hoisted the flag and Bro. Abin Varghese delivered a meaningful speech.

Jan. 28: Twenty Nine candidates (women) were admitted into the Trinitarian Third Order. The ceremony took place at the Trinitarian Convent chapel, Castelforte. Birthday of Fr. Orlando

Jan. 18: Fr. Orlando’s 87th birthday was celebrated in the community at noon and then in the parish in the evening with Holy Mass followed by cutting of cake and refreshment with the parishioners and well wishers.

Jan. 20: The community celebrated the birthday of the birthdarians of the month. They were wished and felicitated and there was a get together followed by Agape.

The Republic Day Celebration

Jan. 26: Community celebrated The Republic Day. Soon after the Mass, Fr. Minister hoisted the National Flag and gave a thought provoking message; he stressed the need of praying and loving our country and its people.

Birthday of Fr. Jaison

Jan. 28: The community celebrated the birthday of Fr. Jaison O.SS.T., by wishing and felicitating him. There was a get together followed by an Agape. Fr. Minister Felicitated Fr. Jaison. Trinitarian Sisters also were present to felicitate. Fr. Jaison thanked the Lord by celebrating the Holy Eucharist. The Birthday of Fr. Jaison falls on 25th of January.
