August 15: The dual feast was celebrated in the community with the solemn mass presided over by Fr Simine and the sermon delivered by him as well. Followed by mass was the hoisting do tth National Flag done by Fr. Pradeep with a short independence day message. The sisters were present for the event. Read more. |
August 22: Onam was celebrated together with thr SABS sisters from Konanthur. After the mass at our community we had breakfast together here in the community. And the 'onasadhya' was prepared at the convent for all of us. Read more. |
August 24: Fr Simine presided over the mass. Then we had the birthday dinner and cutting of thr cake in the at Mayura restaurant in Thirthahally. The community and SABS sisters presented him with gifts. Read more. |
August 10: Piazza of St Lorenz community celebrated the feast of St. Lorenz. After the three days of Triduo, we conducted the feast with procession in vehicle. Due to Covid-19 restrictions from the Diocese, we cancelled the procession along with the people. The priests accompanied the statue in the vehicles which went through the boundaries of the parish. August 04: Community celebrated the feast day of St John Vianney, the Patron Saint of all the priests. The community wished both priests, Frs. Janil and Lijo. Read more. |
August 15: The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr. Janil. After the Holy Mass we had march fast and flag hosting. Holy Mary sisters were present for the celebration. Br. Abin delivered the speech on the occasion of independence. Read more. |
August 21: The Onam celebrations began with the Holy Qurbana, celebrated by Fr. Janil, the Minister Conventual. After the Mass, Fr Janil blessed the flower carpet (athapookalam), designed by brothers. At noon we had Onam sadhya. Morning we had Onam games and at night we had the distribution of prizes. August 21: The community also celebrated the birthday of Br. Juwel, who is studying degree 2nd year at Loyola College. During the Holy Mass, the community prayed for him and his family. Evening we had a birthday celebration. Read more. |

August 21: The Community had a wonderful Onam celebration. The Onam celebrations were colored with the presences of SJB Novitiate community, Fr. Ritesh, parish priest of Kollangana and family of Flora chechi, our kitchen staff. Community made the flower carpet, conducted games and prepared Onam-sadhya. Read more. |

August 04: The Community celebrated the ‘Priest’s Day’ with the heavenly patron of priests, St. John Maria Vianney. At evening, we wished all the priest members of the community. Bro. August 12: The Community arranged “Adios Sr. Conchi,” a sent off program for Sr. Conchi as she leaves India. Frs. Jins and Bitaju felicitated her and thanked her on behalf of the community as well as the Order and wished her all the success for her future ministries. It was a moment of Trinitarian confraternity. August 20: We celebrated the Birthday of Bro. Joseph Guria. Bro. Ialammiki felicitated him on behalf of the community. Bro. Joseph hails from Assam, who pursues the First-year formation program at our house, after being successfully completed a year of formation in Assam. Read more. |
August 21: We had a colourful Onam Celebration today. We made a wonderful ‘Pookalam’ on the previous day. On the Onam day, at 10:00 am, we had ‘Onakalikal,’ group games in two teams including the sisters, followed by Onam cultural programs. Thereafter he had ‘Onasadhya’, with nearly 20 items. August 28-29: We had our monthly recollection today, which started the previous day evening (28/08/2021). For this time, we took the theme, ‘The Persecution in Afganistan.’ We had solemn Holy Eucharist in the morning, followed by adoration. We concluded the prayer day by the afternoon. Read more. |
August 15: We had the hoisting of the national flag in DeMatha School, Tulsibari. We hoisted the flag along with some staff and neighbors. We also distributed sweets for them. We couldn’t invite any students due to the present situation of the pandemic. Read more. |
