Sept. 04: The covid-19 vaccination took place in DeMatha school, Tulsibari. A lmost 200 people came for taking the vaccine. It was conducted under with the initiative of the government of Assam. Read more. |
Sept. 08: Teachers’ Day was celebrated in Tamulpur school, Assam. All the teachers were present for the programme. They conducted some cultural programmes and fathers and brothers also participated in the programme followed by lunch thereafter. Read more. |
Sept. 27: The community in Bilpar Celebrated the Birthday of Br. Nitesh. All the fathers and brothers wished him on his special day. A good meal also was prepared in the community. Nithesh is a participant of the De Matha Boys' Program at Bilpar. Read more. |

Sept. 05: We celebrated the Teacher’s Day colourfully. The Community hoisted a wishing program to acknowledge and value the contributions of all the teaching staff of the community. Fr. Bitaju, the Rector presided over the programs in the absence of Fr. Jins, the Minister. The brothers performed some cultural programs to add more life to the programs. Read more. |
Sept. 05: Along with the teacher’s day celebrations, we got the privilege to celebrate 25th anniversary of the teaching career of Sir. Biju, who teaches Tabla and Triple Drum. Sir. Sept. 08: We had a solemn Rosary Procession on the day of the Nativity of our Blessed Mother around the house. After the procession, Fr. Jins, the minister gave the message to the community. The Community had arranged a competition for the brothers, namely ‘Letter to my Mother.’ After the rosary procession, Fr. Jins distributed gifts to the brothers. Read more. |
Sept. 10: Sr. Leena CHF joined the teaching faculty of the community to animate the spirituality to the first-year brothers. We welcomed her during the assembly and wished her all the success in her ministries. Read more. |
Sept. 14: The Community celebrated the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. At Morning, we had the Solemn English Holy Qurbana celebrated by Fr. Saneesh and Fr. Bitaju preached the homily. At evening, we had a special session conducted for the veneration and meditation of the Holy Cross led by Fr. Bitaju. It was an inner-healing experience for the brothers. Read more. |
Sept. 14: The Community wished Mr. Maxwell and Mrs. Titty, who got married recently. Mrs. Titty has been a volunteer in our De Matha Spiritual Centre for many years. The Community greeted them and wished all the success to their married life. Read more. |
Sept. 15: We celebrated the Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows with a special rosary of seven mysteries which meditates on seven sorrows of Mother Mary. Fr. Bitaju led the rosary with a brief introduction to it. Read more. |
Sept. 28: We had the Birthday Celebration of the brothers who celebrated their birthdays in August and September, today. Bros. Silberstar, Alen, Ialammiky and Joseph celebrated their birthdays during this period. We wished them and cut the cake to share the joy of the day. Read more. |

Sept. 08: We celebrated the feast of the Nativity of Our Lady. The statue of Our Lady was elegantly decorated. And we wished the sisters who celebrated their feast. On behalf of the feast we had speech competition where all the sisters participated. Read more. |
On 11th we had the program to congratulate our newly professed sisters and to welcome, Sanjukta Malik, a new candiate. As the newly professed sisters had gone for holidays the community decided to conduct this program. Sr. Alphonsa, the superior of the community, congratulated Srs. Sept. 02: We had celebrated the birthday of br. Bibin P. Michael. He is currently doing his first year theology in DVK. The community prayed and wished him for his studies. Read more. |
Sept. 04: Community celebrated the birthday of Fr. Janil and prayed for him. Evening the community staged a program to appreciate his love and service for the community. Fathers and sisters from neighbouring communities were present for the program. We had an agape thereafter. Read more. |
Sept. 21: We celebrated the birthday of Fr. Joseph, the vice provincial. The community was very happy to celebrate his birthday and during the Holy Eucharist we prayed for him for the tireless work he does for the Order in India. We thanked and wished him in the evening. Read more. |
Sept. 08: Preparation for the feast of Our Lady of Rest in Ventosa. Before the triduum begins the the statue of our Lady is being blessed along with the Holy Mass. There was a little fire works for the celebration. Read more. |
Sept. 09: Part of Ministry we visit the elderly people, hear their confession and give them holy communion in their homes as well as in the old age homes. Read more. |
Sept. 12: After the preparation of triduum we celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Rest in Ventosa. There were two Holy Masses in morning and in the evening. Evening we had rosary in the piazza, followed by procession and Holy Mass. Special word of appreciation to Frs Jolly and Sibi for all the necessary arrangements for the celebration. Read more. |
