Facilitator for the Chapter

Oct. 01-02: Rev. Dr. Sebastian Payyappilly, CMI was the facilitator of the Chapter for two days. His interventions and timely feed back were a blessing to the capitulars to be focused and arrive at optimum result in discussions. Fr Sebastian's interventions were very sharp and short.

Oct. 01-05: There were 26 capitulars who actively participated in the Vice Provincial Chapter of Vice Province of St. Michael of the Saints from October 1-5, 2022. Time of Prayer and Reflection

The day of Chapter were days of prayer and reflection together. All participated actively in the prayer sessions. Holy Mass was celebrated by various groups assigned.

Election Phase of the Chapter

Oct. 03: The election phase of the chapter began on the third day of the Chapter. Rev. Fr. Pradeep Puthenveettil, O.SS.T. was elected as the new Minister Vice Provincial. Rev. Chapter Choir

We had a beautiful choir during the chapter that animated the liturgical hymns during the Holy Mass and the liturgical hours. The choir assisted the capitulars to pray well.

Table Fellowship

The table fellowship at the refectory were true moment to build our brotherhood and communion. The Holy Cross Sisters at Maitreya prepared such delicious food that made the capitulars happy and content. We had varieties of items catering to different tastes of the capitulars.

Silver Jubilee of Rev. Pradeep Puthenveettil, O.SS.T.

Oct. 04: Fr. Pradeep Puthenveettil was born in 1971 in Arthunkal, Kerala. He entered the Order of the Most Holy Trinity and of the Captives at Holy Trinity Ashram in Chiyyaram, Kerala in July 1992. Entertainment by Major Seminarians

Oct. 04: During the evening of fourth day of the Chapter the students of philosophy and theology at Holy Trinity Ashram, Bangalore, performed a skit, dance and choir. They greeted the capitulars and wished the newly elected the Vice Provincial team.

Remembering the Deceased Members

Oct. 05: On the fifth day of the Chapter we remembered the deceased of the Vice Province. Particularly we remembered and prayed for the deceased sisters of the Holy Cross who were very closely connected with the Vice Province.

Participation by Third Order Members

Oct. 05: Representatives of third Order members from Thrissur, Mr. Babu and from Kasargod, Mrs. Philomina and Mr. Thankachan, presented the activities of the third order members in their respective places. The Minister General presented them with mementos and appreciated them.
