We had a cultural get together in front of St. Xavier’s High School for 40 minutes immediately after the blessing ceremony in which the people of different tribes honoured the Archbishop with their cultural Gomochas (Shawls). There was also the honouring of the 2 main contractors of the Church construction by the Archbishop.  All the participants had a sumptuous lunch at the end of the program. His grace John Moolachira, the Archbishop, felicitated all the fathers who had worked in St. Xavier’s Tamulpur mission. The programs of the day got over by 2.30 pm.
